We suspect it has something to do with the nature of the resolutions themselves -- which seem, much to our joy, to be evolving. Lasy year, for instance, we reported that according to a study by the University of Scranton's Journal of Clinical Psychology, the top 10 resolutions of 2015 included things like losing weight and falling in love.
And while this year's top 10 resolutions, according to a survey conducted by the Statistic Brain Research Institute, are similar -- "self improvements," "find the love of my life" -- we noticed a new one on the list: "Learn something new on my own."
As finals are approaching, we have a few events coming up to give everyone a small, delicious break from studying in order to enjoy the last few moments of this fall semester. On December 5th, join us at our first study break for Pizza Night! That following Sunday is Fuego Night, Monday is Chocolate Night, and lastly, Ice Cream Night will be hosted that Tuesday, December 10th. Each of these events will be at 10 pm in our Ranch Cafe. We hope everyone has had a great first semester here at Cambridge and are excited for y'all to come back in the spring! Please contact our Resident Director, Sierra, at [email protected] for suggestions on any future events you'd like to see. Happy Holidays!
Now that we’re running full speed into our holiday season, we have several exciting events for our residents to enjoy. We’ll host a Family Feud event for anyone to test their knowledge at 8pm in the café on the 13th. Then, starting on Monday the 18th, we have our action-packed Resident Appreciation Week in which, each day, we’ll have themes and contests to win lots of free prizes for us to give back to our awesome residents. We have another round of hall events hosted by our fantastic Ras and never ending opportunities to unwind between that nonstop school grind! Please contact our Resident Director, Sierra, at [email protected] for suggestions on any future events you’d liked to see.
