The Cambridge is a Living-Learning Environment, made especially for students!
We want your college student to be successful throughout their career at Texas A&M University or Blinn
College. They need a good foundation and support to gain this success. At The Cambridge, we want to
help support their productivity by giving them a fully equipped computer lab and individual study rooms
at their fingertips. We want to keep them healthy with an on-site Ranch Café and state-of-the-art fitness
center. We also want to help them relax by giving them the 60-seat HD theatre, fully loaded game room,
cyber café, and two resort style pools for lounging. The Cambridge meets every need that your student
will have while in college so they can achieve what they came here for in an enjoyable atmosphere.
Individual Leases
Individual leasing means peace of mind for you. Your financial responsibility is only for your student’s
space unlike many apartments or rental houses where a joint lease is signed. If a roommate transfers to
another school or moves out of The Cambridge for any reason, you do not have to worry about having
to cover their portion of rent. This is just another reason why The Cambridge is your student’s best
housing option!
On-site Professional Staff
The Cambridge has a full Resident Advisor staff that lives on-site and is able to help your student 24-hours
a day. The front desk at The Cambridge never closes so that your student can fill out maintenance
requests, pick up packages, and get any other needs met anytime they come up. Our maintenance staff
will respond to your student’s maintenance issues quickly and professionally. The Cambridge offers 24
hour emergency maintenance as well so that your student’s comfort is not affected.
Affordable Floor Plans
The Cambridge has five spacious floor plan options so they will easily be able to find one to suit their
needs. We have one bedrooms, two bedrooms, and four bedrooms. They can share a bedroom and
bathroom, or they can have their own. Your students rent includes all utilities (water, sewer, trash, and
electricity), a food plan, cable with HBO, high-speed Ethernet or WIFI, furniture, weekly housekeeping,
access to The Cambridge amenities, and so much more!
Fully Furnished
The Cambridge is a fully-furnished community, saving you money! Each student will have a twin-sized
bed, large desk and chair, and four stackable drawers in their bedroom. If they have a floor plan with
a living area, they will have a comfortable sofa, oversized chair, coffee table, end table, entertainment
center, and dining room table and chairs.
Roommate Matching
If your student does not have a roommate in mind, we can find them one! We will have them fill out a
Roommate Matching sheet so we know what they are looking for in a roommate. During the summer,
we will spend weeks looking at these preferences and matching them up with the best person we can
find!
Resident Events to Keep Students Involved
While the main focus of your student’s college career will be about graduating and getting a fulfilling
job, they also need to have fun along the way. At The Cambridge, your student will create life-long
relationships and connections that will make them even more successful. Our Resident Advisor staff
plans monthly resident events to get them involved. These events range from pizza parties to karaoke
nights, from resume building classes to football tournaments. Annually, The Cambridge has a Luau at
the beginning of the fall semester, a tailgate before one of the A&M football games, a Casino Night at
the beginning of the spring semester, and a large football tournament among the residents and staff.
We will also keep our residents connected to events going on at Texas A&M University and Blinn College
so they don’t miss anything!
